This week’s release is the first sourcebook for our street-level super-hero game Wretched Vigilantes, Bad Guys Always Lose. Ancient history has its myths and legends. England had its magic, its monsters and its super spies. The old west had its Masked Rider and its tall tales. The 1900s had Jungle Lord, the Phantom Detective and the Golden Doctor. World War 2 had its super soldiers and atomic monsters. The 1950s had its aliens; the 1960s gave us mutants, and the 1970s made us believe a man could fly. While we may explore those other time periods in a future supplement, for now we will focus on the secret history of super humans from the 1980s until today, and the events that shaped the creation of the Prometheus Project in Hammettville, as well as other super humans around the world. It begins with the Saturday Sentinels Slaughter. In this book you will find expanded information about Hammettville’s Vigilantes and Crime Lords, revised powers, new heroes and villains and two scenarios.

In preparation for Wretched Space Second Edition, the psychic/ psionic rules were revised and a new update (1.4) of the Wretched core book is now available at the the Red Room store, Big Geek Emporium, Giant Slayer Games and Lulu. Besides the revised rules some typos and were corrected and formatting issues were addressed.

This is the scenario that started it all: The Wretched concept, the idea for the Wretched Bastards setting and the Seven Sins as an alternative alignment system. The Seven Bastards is a low-fantasy, low-magic scenario/ short campaign setting for Wretched Bastards or other OSR games. Years ago a group of lewd and rowdy adventurers, collectively known as The Seven Bastards, was expelled from the village of Fork for their belligerent and salacious ways. But when consecutive bands of orcs start coming down from the mountains south of the village, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake, the locals find no support in their lord, Windom, the Earl of Andril, too distracted with the mysterious disappearance of his young daughter to care about any other trouble. The villagers turn to the only ones who can help them in a time of need, the Bastards.
