Today is the Red Room’s 4th Anniversary

Today is the Red Room’s anniversary, and we would like to thank everyone who has supported us through four years of publishing niche products no one ever asked for! And to those who tried to cancel us, in true Red Room fashion: fuck off. You did not win, we are still here. A reminder as well: until the end of this month, all Wretched digital titles are 40% off on itch.io.

New in print: DARKER updated at Lulu

The updated edition of DARKER (no AI illustrations, new cover by Derek Stevens and a few improvements/ rules clarifications) is now available on paperback at Luludotcom. If you purchase it until next Friday remember to use code EARTHDAY15 for a 15% discount. The proof copy for the hardback version I got from Lulu has an unusually dark background image; the text is still legible but it might be an issue for some readers, so I’ll keep it unlisted for the moment.

DARKER and End of Innocence now on Amazon

DARKER and The End of Innocence are now available from Amazon. It is a funny coincidence that these two became available at the same time. There could not be a more extreme contrast between the brutality of contemporary horror in DARKER and the family-friendly nostalgia of The End of Innocence.

New Release: Solo Red

New release! Solo Red brings official solo play to the Red Room role-playing games. For years, players asked for a way to experience Red and Wretched titles without a group or Game Master. This book answers that request with a complete framework designed specifically for solo sessions, co-authored by Abraham Zetina from Talking About Games. Available on itch and Lulu.
