We’re going to wrap up the year with our inaugural Red Room Holidays Game Jam! This is your chance to unleash your creativity and contribute to the world of tabletop role-playing games. Well, our little niche of it, at least…

The Challenge

Game System: All submissions must use our Wretched game system.

Content: You have complete creative freedom within our universe! Write anything you like for any of our published settings, or even explore a different genre.

Your submission can include:

– Scenarios

– Locations

– Monsters

– Tables

– Plot Hooks

And more!

Word Limit: The only constraint is a maximum of 5,000 words. Let your imagination soar within this limit.

Submission Guidelines

Format: Please submit your entry as an unformatted Word document (.doc or .docx). No illustrations are required.

Deadline: Submissions are open now and will be accepted until December 15th.

Wretched Darkness – Second Edition is getting a makeover! This updated version will feature a revamped layout, new illustrations, and optional rules adapted from DARKER. If you’ve already purchased the first edition from our store, you’ll be able to download the updated version soon. Additionally, the new edition will be available on Lulu at a lower price, as it will be released in a black-and-white format.

Wretched Justice is a new setting for the Wretched Role-Playing Game, set in the violent and corrupt landscape of 1970s Italy and America. Players embody anti-heroes navigating two perilous cities: Cittaferra, a fictional Italian metropolis inspired by poliziotteschi films, and Blackwater, a decaying American city reminiscent of gritty 70s-80s action movies. In these urban jungles plagued by organised crime, political extremism, and police corruption, player characters must choose their path. Will they maintain their moral compass or succumb to the very corruption they fight?

The updated version of Wretched Space is now available in print at Lulu.com. New cover, new layout, and some new content too.

I’ve just received word from Luludotcom support that their UK printer has rejected a couple of our titles — the hardcover editions of Wretched New Flesh 2nd Edition and Expanded Wretched. This might be due to our decision to avoid the premium color option, which would significantly increase the cost of these books. For those in the UK, I recommend choosing the paperback versions instead, as they seem to be unaffected by this issue.

Wretched Space Second Edition has been updated! If you’ve purchased it before, you can now download the new version. This edition features a striking new cover by Jae Tanaka , a revamped layout, and additional content. We’ve added an adventure generator, expanded details on key factions like the Wretched Legion, and included the scenario Raid on Poultry Planet by Daniel J Price. Soon it will also be available in print at Luludotcom.
