The free Wretched Role Playing Game core book was just updated. It’s more than just a few typos corrected, it’s a whole new layout, new art and new content. In fact, this was adapted from the Expanded Wretched RPG. It’s that document minus the expanded bits. Still the free core book is now 478 pages. Another Red Room birthday gift. We hope you like it.
We have two new releases today: The Pundit Files Issue 10 – Authentic Jousting Rules. Co-written by the RPGpundit and the Mad Hermit; it has complete guidelines to how jousting really worked in the early middle and late Medieval World, and from the Mad Hermit the biggest most detailed guide to horses that have ever been made in an OSR product!
Also our own Wretched Verses Issue 24: Traveller Society. This Wretched Verse is the first in a series dedicated to exploring the factions within the Wretchedverse, consolidating scattered information from various setting books and enriching it with further detail.

New release: Fresno, Nevada, another chapter in the Wretched Vigilantes series, intertwining with the Wretched Apocalypse universe.
Set against a backdrop of escalating solar activity, this sourcebook explores the birth of another batch of superhumans as a consequence of unusual solar events. It also presents the post apocalyptic setting of 2060 Fresno, Nevada, its major characters and factions, as well as the short scenario Panic at Pete’s Plaza. According to ML Straus this will be last sourcebook for Vigilantes for now, so if you have been on the sidelines of Vigilantes, it may be time to get into it! Mad Hermit #3 now available at the Red Room store: This issue is a complete adventure module called “the Dock Prowler’s Initiation Ring.” It takes place within the extra-planar confines of a troublesome type of magical item called a “Questing Ring.” The issue itself discusses these items and then provides an example of one of them in the form of the Dock Prowler’s Initiation Ring adventure. 49 pages long.
In the Mouth of Hell is the last in this batch of revamped Wretched scenarios; more will come in the but for now we go back to producing new content. If you purchased it through our store, you can now get the new file. If you purchased it elsewhere, let us know.
Here are the latest wretched facelifts: In Wretched Depravity, by Joe Coombs, and The Bastard King, by Sílvia Clemente. As with the others before, if you purchased these books at the Red Room store or Big Geek Emporium you can download the new versions.
