New release: Grindhouse Red
Grindhouse Red is the MicroRed version of Wretchploitation, one of our earliest Wretched titles. It plunges players into the gritty, blood-soaked underbelly of 1970s exploitation cinema, using MicroRed, a streamlined iteration of the Red rules, an OSR-compatible system by the Red Room. With a cover by Warghoul (Lore Hammer Forge), and interior art (mostly) from public domain, Grindhouse Red is a love letter to the sleazy, blood-soaked world of exploitation cinema—films that thrived on sex, violence, drugs, and every taboo from the 1960s to the 1980s. It’s FREE for those who purchased Wretchploitation from our store and… you can play a LITERAL NAZI! What’s not to love?
Red Room Update
Red Room Update
It’s still a while until the end of the year, but it’s now time to announce that starting January 2026, the Red Room will no longer sell directly through our online store. Instead, all sales (digital and PoD) will shift to Luludotcom. Why the switch? Taxes. Income from Lulu counts as royalties, while our store sales face a 23% e-commerce tax. With sales declining and the effort of managing our store mounting, moving to Lulu simplifies things.
Our website will stay largely unchanged. The “buy” button will become a link to each digital product’s page on Lulu’s store. We’ll stop hosting third-party products, but your download section for past purchases and your wishlist will remain active. Subscriptions will continue, though we need to find a new way to share files with subscribers (without the buying option, store codes won’t work). more details to come.
In preparation, we’ve revamping our Lulu storefront. Many Wretched titles now cost less, thanks to standardizing on color printing and 60# white uncoated paper. If you’ve eyed older titles but held off because of price, now’s the time to check them out.

In Conspiracy Files, a standalone RPG evolved from Wretched Conspiracies and powered by MicroRed (a streamlined version of the OSR compatible Red RPG), you join the Veil Syndicate, a shadowy organization that fights alien, paranormal and supernatural threats, while concealing them from the general public. As an elite agent, you’ll uncover ancient secrets, battle otherworldy enemies and rival factions, and use advanced tech to uphold the Syndicate’s agenda. Gothic and Red updated
Gothic and Red just got upgrades. Gothic’s overhaul is the big one: Mark Brooks’ plot hooks were added, typos scrubbed, rules clarifications made, and AI art swapped for era-appropriate public domain pieces. Red, now at version 1.5, got light rules clarifications. Grab both in the store’s downloads section.
New release: Belle Époque
NEW RELEASE: Belle Époque. This 178-page book includes a summarised rendition of the Wretched Époque setting however, while Wretched Époque was merely a setting, dependent on the Wretched RPG core book to play, Belle Époque is a complete game, incorporating a condensed version of the Red rules, MicroRed. Also within you will find a comic book introduction by Kris Villarosa and lots of public domain art from the period.
Belle Époque is free for those who purchased Wretched Époque 2nd Edition (you’ll find the new file in your downloads section).

New release: Voidhaven Outpost (MicroRed version). This a science fiction role-playing game inspired by Babylon 5, set entirely within a gargantuan space station at the edge of known space. The setting was originally conceived as a supplement for Wretched Space, but this standalone version has been adapted to use the MicroRed rules, a streamlined and condensed form of Red.
