The revised Red role-playing game is available now in digital at the Red Room store. This edition features a new cover by Jae Tanaka, updated art throughout, a cleaner layout, several rules clarifications, and a great many corrected typos. It remains a FREE download. A print edition from Luludotcom will follow shortly. If you purchased the original softcover, send us a message and we’ll arrange a replacement copy. While all Red games include full rules, this book is highly recommended, especially now.
In this MicroRed game player characters are elite ex-soldiers turned mercenaries. They take on dangerous jobs that demand guts and creativity, from storming cartel compounds to slipping through enemy lines to sabotage a weapons cache. The game draws from the spirit of 1980s action shows, especially The A-Team. Gothic and Red just got upgrades. Gothic’s overhaul is the big one: Mark Brooks’ plot hooks were added, typos scrubbed, rules clarifications made, and AI art swapped for era-appropriate public domain pieces. Red, now at version 1.5, got light rules clarifications. Grab both in the store’s downloads section.
