Gothic and Red just got upgrades. Gothic’s overhaul is the big one: Mark Brooks’ plot hooks were added, typos scrubbed, rules clarifications made, and AI art swapped for era-appropriate public domain pieces. Red, now at version 1.5, got light rules clarifications. Grab both in the store’s downloads section.

New release: Dark Corners by Mark Brooks. In Darker RPG, the world is in terminal decline. In such a world, there are shadowy places, dark corners, where evil things plot and scheme and corrupt, and the light never shines.

New release: Voidhaven Outpost (MicroRed version). This a science fiction role-playing game inspired by Babylon 5, set entirely within a gargantuan space station at the edge of known space. The setting was originally conceived as a supplement for Wretched Space, but this standalone version has been adapted to use the MicroRed rules, a streamlined and condensed form of Red. The MicroRed version of Orbital Decay is now available at Red Room store, and it’s a free download for those who purchased the Wretched version of Orbital Decay. This is a hard sci-fi role-playing game, where player characters live in a world of ambition, desperation, and moral decay, where humanity claws its way beyond Earth to build orbital stations and colonies across the solar system. Inspired by movies like Alien, Outland, and Event Horizon.

Novanexus (Micro Red Edition) is now available at the Red Room store and it is a FREE download for those who purchased the Wretched version. The new Novanexus is a full-game with summarised Red rules and the full setting. The game is set in a retro-futuristic French metropolis where a mysterious phenomenon called the Glitch threatens to unravel the city’s fragile balance. Heavily inspired by Jacques Tati’s Playtime (1967) and Trafic (1971), Novanexus combines gritty sci-fi with melancholic nostalgia.

Savage Swords, our new sword and sorcery game, was just released. It features a cover by Derek Stevens, a short introductory comic by Kristian Villarosa, and more than 600 pages of rules and setting.
