Avalidad City Guide

Venture into the heart of Avalidad, a neo-futurist megacity birthed from the sands of northern Africa. This sourcebook unfolds the tale of a city that eclipsed its origins as a corporate dream to become a standalone marvel. Witness its evolution from segmented corporate enclaves to the glittering City of Glass, the epicentre of power and wealth, juxtaposed against the sprawling slums where the city’s underclass toils, and find about its political, and corporate intrigues.
Full description
This sourcebook presents a comprehensive historical exploration of Avalidad, accompanied by in-depth portrayals of its distinct neighbourhoods and major characters. It covers essential locales for adventurers to seek out or steer clear of, profiles of prominent corporations, an analysis of the political landscape, insights into prevailing social currents, as well as trends in fashion and sports. It also delves into the city’s most influential gangs and criminal underworld. Also included are tables for spontaneously generating locales, NPCs, and plot hooks, alongside tools for creating new gangs and neighbourhoods. Additionally, this guide furnishes a glossary to navigate the lexicon of New Flesh technology and Avalidad’s unique urban slang.
Length: 171 pages (Lulu print edition).
Dark Corners

In Darker RPG, the world is in terminal decline. In such a world, there are shadowy places, dark corners, where evil things plot and scheme and corrupt, and the light never shines. These Dark Corners for Darker RPG were originally posted in the #nsfw-content channel of The Red Room Discord server as a fun way to inspire people’s creativity. The distribution was limited however, and only the seeds themselves were planted.
This book represents an attempt to broaden the appeal and flesh out some aspects of the original seed postings. Note that nothing here is written in stone — if the Dark Corner seed grows differently in your garden, by all means water it and make it grow your own way. What follows are 5 Dark Corners for Darker. If the contents horrify you — they should. The world of Darker is a dark place indeed, as one would expect for a modern horror tabletop roleplaying game. Read this with the lights on. Pay no mind to that tapping on the window, the creak of the floor above, the sound of the door opening behind you…
Length: 92 pages (Lulu print edition).
KIDCO Catalog

Created by Charles Miller using AI-generated imagery, the KIDCO catalogue is a supplement to the children’s adventures game The End of Innocence. KIDCO recreates the look and tone of 1980s mail-order catalogues and in here you will find new adventure gear, sports equipment, videogames, toys and more for End of Innocence characters.
Lootbox: Augments and Gear for New Flesh

In Interzone, the future is grown out of flesh. Corporations and black-market surgeons compete to reshape the human body through living technology. Biocomputers grown from neural tissue replace traditional machines. Experimental drugs unlock perception at a cost. Symbiotic organs, engineered parasites, and radical fleshcraft promise power, beauty, or survival in a city where evolution has become a commodity.
Lootbox: Augments and Gear for New Flesh gathers the strange technology circulating through Interzone’s shadow markets. Inside you will find biocomputers, surveillance tools, infiltration equipment, utility gadgets, experimental software, and a wide array of biotech augmentations — from adaptive survival organs to grotesque aesthetic fleshmods. Each entry includes game statistics and acquisition values compatible with the New Flesh system while remaining easy to adapt to other OSR games.
This book reproduces the equipment catalog of New Flesh, including most of the gear presented in the core rulebook. For that reason, it is not primarily intended for players who already own the main game. The equipment gathered here allows Game Masters to introduce the strange tools of Interzone into their own games, whether they are running a cyberpunk dystopia, or a biopunk nightmare of their own design.
Full description
Lootbox: Augments and Gear for New Flesh is a curated extraction of several of the countless online catalogs circulating through the networks of the Interzone. These catalogs exist everywhere in the City: corporate servers, street terminals, and traded through black-market networks.
All equipment stats can be easily adaptable to different OSR systems. Game Masters are encouraged to interpret the items creatively and adjust their mechanical effects to match the system they are using. In other words, consider this catalog a toolbox. If you wish to add illegal biotech to a dystopian city, arm corporate operatives
with unsettling experimental weapons, populate a black market with dangerous augmentations, or introduce strange living machines into a science-fiction campaign,
the items in this book can serve as inspiration.
But remember, not everything listed here is safe. Not everything listed here should exist. In Interzone, if something can be grown, grafted, engineered, or weaponised, someone will eventually find a way to sell it.
Length: 98 pages (Lulu print edition).
Penney Tower

A city sourcebook and an alternative location for the world of Wretched New Flesh by James ‘Grim’ Desborough.*
Penney Tower, more properly the Penney Technopolis Project, is an technological marvel and early experimental arcology built in the suburban London borough of Stentonford, to the Southwest of the city proper. Built between 1970 and 1975, this was the pet project of architect and scientist Doctor Rory Hardon and was built as a futuristic ‘perfect community’ using high technology to be self-sustaining, self-reliant, self-regulating and self-contained. Dr. Hardon had previously worked on Avalidad’s visionary architecture through the 1950s and 60s, as well as numerous other architectural projects at interesting places all around the world. Nobody goes to Penney Tower any more, and most people have forgotten about it. There’s something strange about the way it has been forgotten, and that those early settlers in the new project – including Doctor Hardon, haven’t been heard of since the structure opened.
Length: 158 pages (Lulu print edition).

RED Chad Bestboys

A lighthearted alternative rules supplement for the Red RPG by Kris Villarosa, created as an entry for the Red Room Holidays Game Jam ’24.
Savage Swords – Setting Book

The Savage Swords Setting Book covers the world, factions, cultures, and dangers of its sword and sorcery setting. It includes minimal rules references and can be used with other OSR systems with little adaptation. This volume is available separately from the Rule Book; the complete edition includes the rules and setting in one book.
Length: 252 pages (Lulu print edition).
Shadows Over Olisipo

This is a campaign setting sourcebook for Wretched Époque (or other investigative horror games) set in Portugal of the late 19th century. With elements of gothic horror, weird occultism, and investigative tension, the campaign aims to bring 19th century Portugal to chilling life. The style emphasizes brooding atmosphere, mounting dread, and strange phenomena to drive an engaging story filled with thrills and intrigue. While touching on important themes, the focus rests squarely on immersive world building and tense adventure.Players can expect shadowy wars waged in the dark, ancient evils buried but not dead, and labyrinthine conspiracies that threatens not just Portugal but the world at large. Sanity, certainty, and even reality itself may bend under the weight of truths waiting to be unearthed. But anti-heroes emerge even in the darkest nights.*
The shadows of Lisbon hide countless secrets in the winding alleyways, decaying mansions, and underground catacombs of this ancient city. It is a realm where the light of progress and reason wrestles with mysticism, intrigue, and the allure of the forbidden. This is a Portugal on the cusp of a new century, where old traditions and new ideas clash amidst the trappings of empire. Wretched Dixie

Wretched Dixie is a module sourcebook for the Wretched Role-Playing Game that follows the events of the American Civil War starting in the year 1860 and ending in the year 1865. Players will take on characters that are on the side of the Union, who wished for the United States of America to remain whole, or of the Confederacy, who wanted to continue the practice of slavery via states rights.*
However, in true Wretched fashion, neither side was good or bad. The Union and Confederate armies raided towns and murdered many people, with the death toll of the overall war being an estimated 698,000. Whichever side you decide to make your character for is entirely up to you and the Game Master. Join the Union Army and fight to restore the nation back whole. Fight with the Confederacy to maintain your secession. Or split your table and have at it against each other on one of the many bloody battlefields.

Wretched World

Looking for a freaky theme park to add to your game? Wretched World is here to deliver! This supplement offers everything you need to create a spine-chilling, psychedelic theme park. Dive into a wealth of information, non-player characters, plot hooks and random tables to enhance your game session. Wretched World expands on the quirky 1970s relic theme park featured in Vice: Sandcove Under Fire. Best of all, it’s free for those who purchased that setting.*
A short drive from the glittering high-rises of Sandcove Springs lies the crumbling Wretched World theme park, a monument to shattered dreams. Situated amidst the swamplands of Florida, this notorious park was envisioned during the psychedelic 1960s as an irreverent, counter-cultural rival to Disneyland. Now a mechanical corpse stubbornly clinging to life, Wretched World was the brainchild of jaded cartoon industry outcasts who sought to deliver edgy stories reflecting the chaos of the era, free from censors and studio constraints.
