Miguel Ribeiro
Game Designer, Layout Designer, Prompt Writer and White Male Oppressor.
Miguel had an unremarkable career as a tabloid journalist (back when “journalist” wasn’t yet spelled “activist”). While on house arrest during the Great Plague of the early ’20s, he decided to join the Resistance and fight against the pussification of the hobby. Obviously, he was defeated. Banned from DriveThru and ostracised from mainstream society and all its conventional circles, he now lives as a hermit, writing and publishing Wretched books.

Sílvia Clemente
Author, Accountant
and Diversity Hire.
Once upon a time, Silvia dreamt of becoming a writer, but then she grew up! After a failed attempt at becoming a forensic scientist, she was forced to embrace normality and found a boring corporate job. During the “New Abnormality” period her partner asked her to – in addition to making him a sandwich, – write a dark, sleazy fantasy TTRPG scenario, thus The Seven Bastards and later Wretched Bastards were born. Now, she moonlights as a TTRPG writer, thereby fulfilling her childhood dream and fighting against the woke mind virus (in her opinion, both are signs we’ve slipped into an alternate reality). In addition to being the mother of Bastards, she is a slave to six cats, enjoys reading, and takes long walks in graveyards, abandoned buildings, and other spooky places.

Barbarella
Mastermind.
The late great Barbarella entered Miguel and Silvia’s lives long before the Red Room was even conceived. From the beginning, she remained by Miguel’s side through long hours of work, quietly shaping the Wretchedverse and beyond. Ever modest, she refused recognition, yet it was she who truly pulled the strings— the secret mastermind behind every daring idea and wicked twist. Now that she is no longer among us, the secret must at last be revealed.

Artist
In another life I was a classically trained animator but I hated the job. These days I’m a vector artist based in Ireland who likes to draw weird and wonderful things for games. I want to help people bring their creations to life without the baggage of modern censorship. I also write games when I’m not drawing. And I’m to blame for Terminus The Eversprawl a 90s style cyber horror RPG.

Kris Villarosa
Artist.
Kris Villarosa does online art commissions, character and creature designs, NSFW art and some layouts. Will have at least one gym accident a year.

Jae Tanaka
Artist.
I am Jae Tanaka, spanish artist with more than 20 years of experience, from my beginning in animation (where I worked in 2 Goya Awards wining movies) to advertising and branding content for TV channels such as RTVE, Cartoon Network, TNT and FOX. Currently I share my time between satirical cartoons for a national newspaper and art (both covers and inner pieces) for indie TTRPG publishers.

Judd Goswick
Author, Greatest Game Master Alive.
Judd Goswick has been playing RPGs since 1983. He is a fan of old pulps, science fiction, and classic mystery novels. He is usually a gamemaster. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Olivier Scherchel
Author.
As a French micro author of 49 years, I’ve involved into various creative endeavors. I crafted a fantastical horror scenario, Tears of Belphégor, for the Wretched Époque series, and concocted a picaresque and horrifying campaign titled A Fistful of Blood and Dust for Wretched Country. Recently, I’ve ventured into the dark fantasy realm with Wretched Chanbara, drawing inspiration from a range of Japanese films spanning from the 1950s to the late 1970s. I fell in the RPG world in 1986 and my first games were MERP and Black Eye Chronicles. Beyond writing, I’ve been involved in diverse musical projects, including brutal death, dark Country, and later, dark ambient genres. Looking ahead, I’m setting my sights on contributing vocals for the doom death group Ocean Noir.
