Description
The Other Side of the Mirror runs on the MicroRed system, stripped down for fast play. When you try something risky or complex, you roll a twenty-sided die, add the relevant skill and attribute modifier, and see if you meet or beat the target number. Combat, seduction, and investigation follow the same process.
Characters are defined by a handful of attributes—Strength, Agility, Toughness, Intelligence, Wits, and Charisma.
Skills determine what they’ve learned: Knowledge for scholars and scientists, Influence for silver-tongued seducers, Stealth for prowlers following marks through back alleys, and more.
Perks give them quirks or talents, while drawbacks saddle them with vices: addictions, jealous rages, or obsessions.
